Event - Christon's Birthday

Location - Andrew's House

whee~ ... another birthday, another cake ... haha ... baked this one too ... 500gm of choc went into the making of this cake ... 200gm into the cake and 300gm ontop of it ...

anyways we met at Andrew's house, where we had a birthday party for christon ... was supposed to start at 5pm .. but ended up starting at 6, cos a few of us, including christon, had to go to YWC for a meeting .. :S which was supposed to end by 5pm, but ended at 5.45pm .. :S

anyways we had dinner there, macaroni & cheese sause, vegetable tempura, fried rice, chicken nuggedts and yet another cake ... haha ... after that we played some silly party games ... silly, but very very fun ... lolz ..

no other pics cos i forgot and left my cam in my bro's car ... :S T.T ..

anyways the cake was an orange butter cake with chocolate chunks =P ... (200gm of choc chunks) ... topped with chocolate, wafer and hundreds&thousands ... put a layer of wafer in the middle .. but it seems it integrated itself into the cake ... hahha ... now i know that doesn't work ...

the choc was supposed to be liquid and runny ... but i had little choice but to refridgerate it ... as a result, it became a hard slab of choc on the surface .. :S

oh wells, now i know that doesn't work either =/ hahaha

gonna bake some cupcakes sometime soon ... =)

(nat keeps suggesting i start a cake shop ... CMO said the same thing ... :S)

yups yupz ... cell grp 1 (the youngest cell, which really isn't all that young, anymore) celebrated bernice's birthday yesterday ... a little belated, but still within the month! =P .. hahah ... cos we had mid-autumn festival to celebrate first =/

anyways we just grabbed lunch from the courtyard and rushed to a classroom (so we wouldn't be disturbed) lit the candles, sang a happy birthday song, had her blow the candles then we just sat around chit chatting and eating cake ... hahah ... fyi, it ws baked by yours truely =P tho it was an experiment .. didn't turn out the way i wanted ... =/ on wells, i think i need coverture choc for the centre ... =/

anyways happy belated birthday bernice! (just realised i strung 3 word that start with B together ... hahaha!!!)

Well, we met for combined cell cum mid-autumn festival celebrations on fri evening ... sat around west coast park, sang some worship songs, had a short sharing by christon then some organised games by wayne and finally free & ezy before packing up (cos it was getting late & WCP very ulu ...) hahaha ... pics are available here
